Graffiti Free Phoenix: Day at the Legislature
January 8th, 2013

This is a notice mailed out by the City Of Phoenix

The city of Phoenix Neighborhood Services Department (NSD) is hosting a Graffiti Free Phoenix: Day at the Legislature from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at the Arizona State Capitol, 1700 W. Washington St

.
Phoenix residents are encouraged to come to the Arizona State Capitol in support of anti-graffiti legislation.  To show their support, residents can register at the kiosks.  By doing so, it allows residents to log in and comment on the graffiti legislation once it is being heard by the Legislature.  NSD also asks residents to extend an invitation to their neighbors, friends and family to the event so they may get signed up.  During the event, staff also will provide an update on the proposed anti-graffiti legislation.

Those that are unable to join city staff and community members at the Capitol can give NSD permission to sign them up remotely.   To sign someone up, residents must send an email to nsd@phoenix.gov giving the city permission.  The email must include the supporter's full name, home address, phone number and email address.

Upon arrival at the Capitol, attendees are asked to meet staff at the Neighborhood Services tents on the Capitol Lawn.  Light refreshments will be provided.
